The Board of Directors of SOFIOUEST announces the appointment of Ms. Françoise VIAL-BROCCO as Chair of the Board of Directors, after five years of service as an independent director.
This appointment is part of a governance change initiated several months ago by the Board of Directors, aimed at adapting the company to its strategic challenges and providing management with greater agility.
As part of this transformation, the Board of Directors has decided to reduce its size to five members and to abolish the specialized committees. This change is the result of several months of deliberation and was announced in June 2025 at the Annual General Meeting. It reflects the company's desire to strengthen its operational efficiency and focus its efforts on value creation and active portfolio management.
Françoise VIAL-BROCCO has extensive experience in financial markets and corporate governance. She has held positions of responsibility at Euronext, where she worked with companies of various sizes and from various sectors, mainly SMEs. She has also served on the boards of directors of several listed and unlisted companies. In addition, she is Senior Advisor to INTUITAE, one of Europe's leading independent family offices, and was the representative of the French Family Office Association for the southern region for 10 years.
Françoise VIAL-BROCCO says, "I would like to thank the members of the Board of Directors for the trust they have placed in me by appointing me as Chair of SOFIOUEST. It is an honor to succeed Patrice HUTIN, who worked passionately to transform SOFIOUEST in an uncertain environment. The new Board of Directors, in its more streamlined and agile form, will be able to fully mobilize to support management in its priorities of value creation and portfolio management."
In addition, Mr. Patrice HUTIN, outgoing Chairman of the Board of Directors, has been appointed as a non-voting member. He will perform this role in order to support SOFIOUEST, drawing on his experience and in-depth knowledge of the company.
With this appointment and new organizational structure, SOFIOUEST is affirming its commitment to governance that is tailored, agile, and aligned with its long-term strategic objectives.
