On Thursday July 17, SOFIOUEST brought together the managers of its holdings for an exclusive session on a crucial issue: cybersecurity.
The executives were brought together to take part in a Masterclass on cybersecurity:
"Cyber risks: how much will inaction cost you?"
This Masterclass was led by 3 high-level experts:
- Clément DOMINGO, alias SAxXfounder of Hackers Sans Frontières and BreizhCTF, recognized as one of Europe's top hackers,
- Florent CLAUDEHead of Information Systems Security for the SIPA Ouest-France group,
- Liza MARIE-MAGDELEINEjournalist and trainer specializing in cybersecurity awareness.
The program, specially designed for executives, with a clear focus on the economic and decision-making impacts of cyber risks, covered the following points:
- Facing a cyber attack unprepared: critical financial trade-offs,
- Invest in a resilience strategy,
- Transform cyber risk into strategic leverage and competitive advantage.
The major lessons learned from this Masterclass were as follows:
👉 That VSEs/SMEs are easy targets: it doesn't take a skilled cybercriminal to be corrupted.
👉 That while the flaw is often individual, prevention is built by a corporate culture.
👉 That cybersecurity is not just a matter for CIOs, and that a well-prepared executive can transform a risk into a competitive advantage.
👉 That steering one's strategy avoids the exponential costs dictated by cybercriminals.
At SOFIOUEST, we are convinced that mastering cross-functional functions is a lever for sustainable performance. That's why we will continue to support our investments in these strategic areas.
