Yotta Capital Partners, Sofiouest and Alain Jarre announce the industrial affiliation of the Recif Technologies group with Accuron Technologies, an international precision engineering and technology group serving the semiconductor, aerospace and industrial equipment sectors.
Headquartered in Toulouse, with two sales subsidiaries in the USA and Taiwan, Recif Technologies has grown strongly since its restructuring in 2008, when Alain Jarre took over the reins of the company.
Backed since 2021 by Yotta and Sofiouest, the company has enjoyed very strong growth in recent years, with a clear acceleration since 2020 of +65%. It has established itself as one of the world's top two manufacturers of ultra-clean wafer handling robots (wafers sorters) for semiconductor plants, and has been involved in all major European collaborative projects since 2012.
Recif Technologies will continue to invest heavily in R&D, drawing on the Accuron group's recognized industrial expertise and experience in robotics, inspection and packaging, its strong industrial base in Europe and its extensive international network (Europe, US and Asia) to take its development to the next level.
It will also be supported by Laurent Salanqueda, its new CEO, who joined the company a year ago.
For Alain Jarre:
"By joining Accuron Technologies, Recif Technologies will have the means to accelerate its development and pass a new milestone in Europe, thanks to the Chip for Europe Initiative, but also in all countries involved in semiconductor manufacturing. I'm proud to have contributed to the turnaround and development of Recif Technologies over the past 15 years; Recif Technologies is now ready to go even further.
For Benoît Perrot of Yotta Capital Partners:
"As a majority shareholder in Recif Technologies, it was particularly important for us that Recif Technologies joined a group sharing the same values of technological excellence serving the strategic semiconductor industry in Europe and worldwide. We are particularly proud to have been the driving force behind this merger, and we are convinced that Accuron Technologies will provide Recif Technologies with the resources it needs to continue innovating and developing, while pursuing its ongoing efforts to reduce its carbon footprint".
For Patrice Hutin/Florian Denys of Sofiouest:
"We are delighted to see Recif Technologies move towards new horizons with the industrial backing of the Accuron Technologies group. This partnership marks a significant step forward for Recif Technologies, underlining its key role in the semiconductor industry. We are confident in Recif Technologies' ability to pursue its development under the leadership of Laurent Salanqueda, who joined the venture a year ago. Sofiouest is delighted to have contributed to the success of this company, which is playing its part in the new dynamism of French industry."
